We Need Your Help in 2007!
We continue to be moved by the amazing support we have received since becoming missionaries. Not only financial support, but also thoughts and prayers , packages from home, and blessed visits here to Albania by friends and loved ones. We saw it again in our Trip Home, as more people heard of our mission and responded by supporting us. Because of this support, we have opened and are operating the Soup Kitchen, our primary project here.
As we become more effective here and can help more people, our expenses also increase . The Soup Kitchen is a prime example. We are also responsible for raising the funds to run it , and we feel the
weight of this responsiblity every time we buy enough food to feed 100 - 120 hungry people, buy fuel to run the generator and furnace, or pay our staff for another week of very hard work.
Asking for money is not an easy thing to do. In fact, it is one of the most difficult things for us in being missionaries. We know that many of you already contribute to a variety of worthy causes. We don't want to take away from anything you are contributing to now, or ask anyone to give beyond their capability. Our goal is to explain our mission, communicate our committment, and give you the opportunity to share in the blessings of working in the mission field.
Please understand that the funds that we raise are applied directly to our mission and the Soup Kitchen. Donations are administered by the OCMC , the Orthodox Christian Missionary Center and are tax deductible!
Our supporters are partners in our missionary endeavor. Your support is what makes our mission possible. As a supporter, you will share in the blessings of helping people less fortunate with a contribution that is every bit as important as what we are doing by being here . No missionary would be on the field for even a day if it were not for the support of people who remain at home and find it in their hearts to give.
